A traditional Greek taverna with a panoramic view of one of the best beaches on the island of Corfu, Barbati. Angelos, the owner, is expecting you to taste the traditional Corfiot specialities which he has been making for years now.
Advantages: Beautiful scenery, food and wine. Disadvantages: The mosquitoes are extremely vicious
...I was in Corfu for 4 days. Its very green, sunny and hilly. It is a beautiful Island. The main city if full of many restaurants and cafes. You will definitely never go hungry in Corfu. The greek food and wine is beautiful. There is such a range of food to eat - you will never have the same meal twice. I really liked the Greek wine - surprising cheap and good quality.
I would definitely recommend a lot of mosquito repellant. I was bitten very badly in Corfu.
A good pair of walking shoes would also be good if you want to explore the island, although hiring a motor bike or car is very cheap....

Advantages: peaceful to relax in the sun Disadvantages: Dassia is based on a busy road
...I felt I had to comment on the Island of Corfu after returing from amazing holiday, I decided to choose Corfu as I have travelled around Greece and been to most of the Islands but id never been to Corfu. When arriving we were taken to our hotel and I have to say I have never seen such a amazing hotel. We stayed in the Corfu Chandris in a little town of Dassia. The hotel was spledid with carpeted floors in the bedroom, which was a totally new experience. the meals were amazing. I would definatley recommend the Corfu Chandris to anyone whose up for a relaxing holiday in a amzing place.
The resort of dassia itself was a little quiet to what ive experienced before however it was the best holiday ive been on in along time. Dassia is based on one strech of road with plenty of shops and restaurants, and a club for the more lively. The bus...

Advantages: Cheap, friendly owners, next to beach Disadvantages: Not much really
...is a good size and very clean, the pool also had a bar. The hotel location is very good as its just a couple of minutes from the beach and just down from the road from the main restaurants in Acharavi itself.
So i would definitely recommend Corfu and the Eriva apartments....
