Advantages: All inclusive with great food, no kids, great staff

We wanted to have a break away just the two of us without our kids and knew we wanted an all inclusive break. After much deliberation we decided to try the Atlantica Golden Beach and were not disappointed. This is a Thomson Gold Hotel and we received Gold service from the minute we booked. Everyone was so friendly. When we arrived into Paphos airport we were quickly shown to our bus and because it is a Gold hotel you are dropped off first. The Manager and staff were there to greet us with drinks and a short information session about where restaurants, bars, facilities were. We had upgraded our room to a Double Superior and this meant that we were guaranteed a sea view along with a bottle of wine, fruit, bathrobes, slippers, television, cd player and canopy over our large double bed. Capo Bay Hotel, Protaras

Advantages: fantastic 4* hotel
Disadvantages: don't go there in the week that they close!

We have just returned from our honeymoon in Cyprus. We stayed at the Capo Bay Hotel, which stands on the Fig Tree Bay in the resort of Protaras. It is one hours drive from Larnaca Airport. (I will reveiw Protaras as a resort separately. This review is solely on the Capo Bay Hotel). The hotel was fantastic. It is 4star hotel and the service and facilities are great. The Capo Bay hotel has 225 rooms over 4 floors and was built in 1985. It offers a gymnasium with massage and jacuzzi, tennis, scuba diving, pool, 2 swimming pools (1 heated) and 4 different restaurants to eat in, including 1 beside the pool. We paid £1500 for two weeks Bed & Breakfast. This was for an inland view room, but because we were on our honeymoon, we were upgraded to a seaview room. Advantages: fantastic staff, lovely hotel
Disadvantages: ants in the bathroom

Cyprus was'nt my 1st choice for a hoiday this year, but Ruth my partners sister telephoned us in August 2004 to say she was getting married abroad in July 2005, and would we like to attend. Of course we said yes and so the task of booking in to the same hotel on the same board status began. Cols sister was traveling with Thomas Cook, so I called them ''no room'' they said '' Oh no'' I said. So on to my trusted PC, entered the name of the hotel in too a search engine and walla - a few moments later we was booked all inclusive in to the Anastasia Beach Hotel. After negotiating Larnaca airport, we located our taxis for the transfer and off we went through barren countryside along a stretch of road that was apparently a Motorway, two lanes and a speed restriction of 100km an hour.
