The Golden Donaire Park Hotel is a well run family hotel. It has a great beachside location and it is excellent for families and couples looing for a value-for-money holiday.
The hotel is 1.5km from shops, bars and restaurants of La Pineda. This only takes approx 8-10 mins to walk leisurely.
The hotel has a decent sized pool and also a separate children's pool. There are plenty of sunloungers for the sunworshippers.
Meals are taken in air-conditioned non-smoking restaurant which serves buffet hot/cold meals. There is plenty of food and a variety of choices. You can go up as often as you like to fill your plate. Highchairs are also available. There is also a snack bar open at lunchtime which is situated in the main bar and also by the pool.
There is evening entertainment most nights and daily happy hour in the bar.
The rooms are 2, 3 or 4 bedded with satellite TV. It states in the brochure that a deposit is required for the use of the TV, but we were not asked to pay this. Also available in rooms is a safety deposit box which is chargeable, but on returning the key you get a part refund. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis.
We booked the holiday only 2 days before we went and I was a little dubious as to what we were gonna get, but I was pleasantly surprised. Me, my partner and 2 year old son had a lovely holiday there and would definately go again.
