Little old and not on the beach, but in the city centre! 13/12/2009

Advantages in Mannama (city centre)
Disadvantages old and very standard hotel, doesnt have a beach!

I always use to drive pass it when I worked in Bahrain. It use to be on the sea front but as the island is expanding now it next to one of the most used highways in Manama (centre of city). Golden tulip has a good reputition in Middle East for keep standards good. My mother came and stayed there for couple of nights, it was a standard room for good price. If you want to go for a walk at night, I recommend this place as it is next to the golden city and not too far from the Souk (market), however taxis are very cheap so you might as well take it.
