Having lived in DarEssalaam(Tanzania) for almost 25 years till I moved to London, it was nothing strange that I felt "homesick" and wanted to revisit the city where I had spent my child hood and having finished studies spent part of my youth. I work for a company that's in the midst of divorcing its separate parts in a messy but fairly civilised way. Some ...

When travelling to Africa in general one of the most important decisions you must make is the hotel that you intend to stay in.
You need a place that provides you with comfortable rooms, clean food and water, entertainment and security.
My hotel of choice is the GoldenTulip Accra Hotel.
This hotel is part of the GoldenTulip chain of hotels. GoldenTulip hotels enjoy a high reputation throughout the world. More on the GoldenTulip chain later in this opinion.
The GoldenTulip Accra Hotel is located just 2 km from Accra’s Kotoka International Airport and is commonly referred to as the “airport hotel”.
