My partner and I have recently returned from SantaPonsa after a one week break.
We stayed in the Parasol Apartments which is just a few minutes walk from the main cetre of SantaPonsa.
There is a very good atmosphere here. The town has a whole range of different bars and restaurants. There is a very Irish feel in SantaPonsa with a great deal of the bars being Irish run. Everyone is very friendly and although it was very busy there it was not as hectic as places like Magaluf and Palmanova.
The beach is superb and very clean. There are lots of boat trips around the beach and these are very good value for money.
It is very easy to travel around to local attractions and the bus service is excellent.
Closeby there are three very large water parks. There is Aquacity, Aquapark and western world. These are very ...

itself is a dialect of Spanish, but as a lot of residents are either originally from Spain or bilingual you will get by. When we travelled last year I conversed with our taxi driver in Spanish and he was extra helpful - and we got charged about half of what others seemed to be getting charged! (This isn't a guarantee, we may have just found a cheap driver!)
--Accommodation--
There are a multitude of hotels to choose from in SantaPonsa as it is a resort frequented by many tourists - we personally stay in the Rey Don Jaime, an excellent hotel 3 minutes walk from the beach - but there are, like I said, many all with different 'ranges' of customers. Our hotel is 3/4* (we aren't quite sure) and costs around £20 per person per night.

Hotel Miranda is a small quaint hotel. the staff are quite friendly, although not always on hand, the hotel can feel desolate at times.
The swimming pool is lovely, although not heated so can be cold. The hotel has a nice bar, although quite expensive.
Morning buffet breakfast is served with nice simple food which can be eaten on the beautiful terrace.
The rooms are quite basic, but hold all the necessary amenities (eg shower, double bed etc. However, at night it can get quite noisy, especially with children staying in the hotel, and with the locals outside.
The hotel is situated near to the santaponsa's tourist and beach area, with all the amenities nearby. However, the hotel is located in what appears to be an alley road, so the smell of rubbish/bins can become quite bad when the whether is hot.
