I visited this hotel when i visited Gothenburg recently. As you walk in to the massive lounge you are greeting by wonderful decor and staff that are immacuatley turned out. I made the mistake of not booking in advance and despite there being a boat convention on in the hotel (which was attracting people from around the world) and it being 9pm in the evening the lady at reception went out of her way to find me a room after it was initially found to ...
...I would recommend this hotel as a great venue for a romantic weekend away, this decor, service and overall class of the hotel far outstrips the money you will pay to stay here. One word of advice; book in advance because you can find some good deals for this hotel on the internet. ...

Nice modern hotel with good location

Advantages: The easy internet connection, room was very nice
Disadvantages: Had to walk for a while to get to the room

Radisson SAS hotel have free WiFi access and it was just a matter of putting in the surname and room number to get access to the net…it is always nice to be online even if you are away from home. The desk also contained a water boiler in case you want some tea or coffee. Big on service, this hotel is worth a visit

Advantages: First class service, spacious rooms, clean and tidy
Disadvantages: Perhaps not so family-friendly

This is the largest hotel in the city of Gothenburg. Don't expect a hotel the size of the Waldorf Astoria in New York or the Bellagio in Las Vegas. It's a little more compact than that, however, it is a wonderful hotel that I would recommend to anyone visiting Gothenburg. Plush settings at an affordable price!!

Advantages: Central Location
Disadvantages: none that I can think of

Cant find it? Your looking the wrong way....

Advantages: Quality(not size)of rooms,view
Disadvantages: Initially hard to find

Ibis Gothenberg City. By the river we were told.......... About 15 minutes walk north of the Train station, just to the left of the large "gota alvbron" bridge is where we were to find the Ibis Gothenberg city. Primarily a hotel for business users rather than tourists i would have thought (you have to walk back past the train station to get into Town), it is situated in a predominantly business riverside area of gothenberg.
