As I travel around for work I'd seen a few Gourmetn Burger Kitchen's around but had never been to try one until recently. I had also seen online that you could print off a 2 for 1 voucher.
I arranged to meet a friend in London and he suggested there as he had a 2 for 1 voucher - I thought why not, anything to save a bit of money after Christmas.
When we arrived it was quite busy (it was just after Christmas) but as there were only 2 of us we got seated quickly. The menu at first glance seem the usual but after looking at it a while you realise how extensive it is. I am now a red meat eater but up until recently I wasn't and was very impressed that their vegetarian section didn't just contain the standard veggie burger but had a range of about 5 or 6 different types of burger (I'm afraid I can't remember them off the top of my head). The meat burger has, of course, beef but also chicken and another more unusual meat, again which I can't remember.
The burgers are quite pricey, the lowest being around £6. You can of course add extras to them and these are at least £1. I had the cheese burger but added bacon. The burger also come with lettuce, red onion, tomato and relish.
Once you've decided what to have you go to the counter and order and pay. They are used to seeing the 2 for 1 vouchers and this didn't cause any problems, infact they gave me 8 more!
The burgers arrived and we'd agreed to share a portion of chips. The burgers were nicely cooked and very very filling, onyl order a portion of chips to share if you're very hungry, if not giv it a miss!
I've been to GBK in Cambridge since then, this time with a girl mate and we just had burgers -no chips but I was still full for the rest of the day. She also introduced me to their milkshakes - I had an oreo cookie one - these are priced at £3.50 but are well worth it.
Overall GBK can seem quite expensive but it's a quick meal that's filling and will suit everyone.

Advantages: Location (W. Hampstead branch), value for money, and service Disadvantages: Maybe a little pricey overall, but it is London for this branch!
