I stayed on the Gower near a village called Penmaen, with two other families and a school friend (12 people) for 2 nights. It was not that easy to get to as there arent many useful sign posts on Swansea and we only had a A to Z of Brittian. The price is per person per night so we put up about 7 tents of varing sizes. The wind and the lack of flat ground made it hard to put the tends up but we made it in the end. There was some flat ground but it had no veiws. The site is right above a beach in a small bay, at high tyde there is not much sand left at all. The rest of the time the beach is not too crowed. There are rocks to climb. There were quite a few people body boarding in the waves. The site has a shower and toilet block with washing up sinks (there are tokens for hot water), a shop which sells thinks like charcoal, milk, bread, sweets, postcards and some toys, and a laundry room. The people on the site were all friendly.
The site is about ten mins drive from swansea if you need to buy anything that is not in the shop or you want to look around the city.
This campsite is great for anyone who likes camping, beaches, rock climbing and has a desent map of the area.
