The Gower Peninsula - what a truyl amazing area of natural and outstanding beauty. Just past Swansea, it has got something for everyone - making it the ideal and perfect holiday. Charming villages; surfing beaches; costal walks; views to die for, and lots more. There are many places to stay in as well, from small village/ country pubs to small holiday parks. You don't even have to actually there to enjoy it, as it is only a short drive away from Swansea. As well as this, the airport is to one side of it - so as long as you can find transport once you get there, then the rest is easy. The best time to go is in the summer, as that is when a lot of it is happening. But that said, a lot of it you can still take part in suring the winter months also. Surely surfing and walking can be spread out all the way through the year?! This is the sort of place that you fall in love with on your first visit, so that you kind of want to go back again. It is all very well me writing about it, but to actually know what it feels like to be there - go there!
