You got plenty of big name shops there (Beatties, MVC, H&M and more) as well as a (small) Odeon, good places to get food (George’s Fish ‘n’ Chips and the Lee Garden), a few good pubs (The Cup and The Three Tuns) and even a good College of Further Education. It’s fairly easy to get to, it’s on the main line between Lichfield and Birmingham and is well service by buses, just don’t try and figure out which one you are supposed catch back, as Sutton’s bus station is just a bit of road, it’s chaotic to say the least.
Advantages: Clean, comfortable, accessible and close promimity to sights and transport network. Disadvantages: All shops, bars and eateries are closed at weekends in the business district .
Club Quarters Gracechurch is a former Edwardian bank in the heart of the business centre of London. It is a very clean and comfortable place to rest your weary bones after a day of sightseeing. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Our bathroom was a little on the small side.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of Tower of London, St Paul's, The Monument and Underground stations to connect you to the rest London has to offer. The hotel is in the business district so all pubs and eateries are closed on Saturday and Sunday. This ensures a quiet night's sleep without the disturbances of night time revelers. Nevertheless, you don't have to walk too far to find food and drink.
