Advantages: Food, Drink
Disadvantages: Could be quite noisy in un social hours

For my our honey moon me and my wife decided to have a relaxing sun holiday as opposed to our usual fun filled exciting holidays to florida. We Booked Through Thomas Cook and at £840 all inclusive For both of us it was great value for money. The food was very good. there was a salad bar a meat bar a pizza stand and even a chinese stand serving noodle and prawn crackers. ...beer to cocktails and from coke to fanta. Everything was kept clean all the time. the gardens and swimming pools were lovely. entertainment was what you would expect But was still ok. Only problem really was that at half 11 every night the local night club started up which was literally under our building . IFA Continental, Playa Des Ingles

Advantages: Execellent position next to bus station and close to shops, just far enough away from night life to be quiet.
Disadvantages: The food is excellent so you may over eat ! Not very close to beach.

I visited this hotel a couple of years ago as the second week of a cruise and stay with TUI. This is a modern hotel with a lift we had a very pleasant room and balcony over looking the front and street but not too noisey. We were half board and we really could not fault the food in anyway, lots of choice hot/cold self service buffet style with daily specials. as much as you could eat. Even though it seemed busy the tables were cleared quickly and ...
...there were not many children there but the ones that were did'nt seem to be at our end of the Hotel. The garden and pool area was very well planned out even though it appears to be right next to a busy road it is not over looked at all. When having a day by the pool we found a quiet corner and nabbed our chairs before breakfast because as usual certain people always save chairs even if they are out for most of the day ! Great hotel, fantastic food and very help staff!

Advantages: Excellent Half Board Service... The Food and Hospitality is amazing.
Disadvantages: Caters mainly for German and Spanish guests.

This is an excellent 4 star hotel offering a very comfortable half board service. Although I stated as a disadvantage that it caters for mainly German and Spanish guests, I had no trouble with this at all. All the staff speak a modicum amount of English and all are very willing to help you in any way. The amenities at the hotel are incredible, from having the choice of three pools, one of which overlooks the beach and lights up at night, to an array of beauty and health treatments available at a modest charge. "wow" hotel

Advantages: beautiful building
Disadvantages: Hot food too cool

...bubbly. Very large spread out hotel and takes a little while to get bearings but fairly new and so easy for wheelchair/pushchair users to get around. Rooms large with lovely bathrooms and highest is 4th floor. Very pretty grounds and swimming pools are well maintained. Exceptionally clean hotel. Grand piano playing in the early evening before dinner. The dinner has two sittings, does not seem to have enough staff when full to serve drinks at table ...
...be on the cool side. Staff bring food from kitchen in plastic containers so time it reaches serving station not very hot. Freshly cooked fish is best bet and large amount of salads and sweets are replenished frequently. There is no outside area for having a drink in evening which is a shame. Advantages: Lovely view from Balconies
Disadvantages: No Airconditioning

Ok, we arrive in Gran Canaria with Thomson, we get to the hotel and check in, all is good. We are told where to go in order to find our room and find there is no lifts. We humph the suitcases up the stairs to our apartments and open them up. Lovely apartments, lovely clean bathrooms and lovely tidy double bed. Where is the air conditioning one asks one self?! There is none! We go to the reception and ask for a fan which the receptionist says we have ...
...we can cool down a bit now! It arrives 2 days later and because of it being soo hot we have had around 5 hours sleep in total! The balconies have great views and it is a very small, quiet hotel! Good for couples and families and also within walking distance of the upper number of shops. ...
