The service at this hotel was amazing. As soon as we got there, people took care of our luggage without even asking us.
The food was amazing, they had everything on offer set up as a buffet, but with the most amazing food selection: you could choose anything for breakfast from eggs and cerial to sushi and salads, lunch was a selection of local specialities and western dishes and dinner was like you're dining at a really posh expensive restaurant. The selection of wines was also excellent, considering it's in Doha, which is quite a traditional place.
The hotel has it's own beach with lounging chairs. I didn't get to see the gym (I was on holiday lol) but a friend said he was really surprised with the facilities. Apparently they had every concievable machine. They also have an outdoor heated pool if you don't like the whole ...

A fine basic city centre hotel, clean and functional.
Helpful reception, restaurant and cleaning staff. Check in was not possible when we arrived at the hotel at noon, nor were we able to get a late check out when leaving.
Excellently located across from one of the many side entrances to El Corte Ingles, five minutes trundle from the Airport Bus Stop in Placa Catalunya.
Our room had a single bed added to make it a tripple, which was rather cramped, but with so much to see we did not spend much time there. The view from our room was into a courtyard and the back of buildings, however some rooms seemed to look onto other rooms across an air tunnel.
Free internet access. A great hotel to flop back to after a long day sightseeing! ...
Advantages: Relaxing surroundings, helpful staff, lovely setting Disadvantages: Noisy hotel next door, a long way to go for a week.
We went here on honeymoon over the Christmas period. We spent a week in the resort (the journey was rather tiring for a week). The resort is generally very pleasant and a relaxing place to stay, however we had a room in the 'quiet' block which is away from the main pool area. Sadly a neighboring hotel played very loud music from midnight to 4am most nights, meaning that while it was very quiet and relaxing during the day we didn't get the best night's sleep.
Food ok -sometimes lovely, cocktails great, all incusive wine awful! Gala dinner was very nice. Lots of large-ish groups. Staff friendly (though more so to large tippers!). The ideal place to take lots of books and soak up the sunshine. ...
