    The not so Grand Barbados Beach resort is located on the west coast of Barbados in The Carlisle Bay Resort. A large property in need of renovation and modernisation which recently went under a refurbishment (lick of paint - outside). The hotel is 10 miles away from Barbados main airport Grantley Adams International, Bridgetown with a transfer time of around 20 minutes. The concept of the hotel when it first opened must have been a great one which went into a downward spiral and never recovered! It has a big fountain just outside reception which is rarely ever on and with black mould around it ... more
