The hotel has 247 rooms
The entrance area is all marble, and it certainly looks very nice. You enter the hotel via a revolving glass door, which at certain times is blocked off, and you have to use a door to one side of it!
Getting into the hotel, to the right is a large reception, with a lovely wooden counter. There were always at least two people working there whenever I went by.
To the left is a small bar area Café D'or, this sells coffees, beers and so on. I generally went here to have a beer most nights, a local beer Maccabi cost 15 NIS.
Beyond the lift lobby, is a mezzanine level, which has chairs overlooking the beach from a massive plate glass window. (If you are in TelAviv, it is worth coming in for a coffee just to look at the view!)
Just before the Mezanine to the left are some stairs, leading down to the lower levels ...
Advantages: not on the tourist route Disadvantages: pretty façade, partly ugly backyard
, nearly all shops were closed, we didn?t understand it, Sabbath would only begin at 7 am. Later we learnt that it was a religious holiday, together with the following Sabbath the Israelis enjoyed two free days, good for them, boring for us tourists.
Up to now we had seen streets and buildings comparable to the ones in Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, our point of reference when it comes to Mediterranean cities, not too elegant but not shabby, either, a rather well-kept provincial town. We headed back to the beach after asking directions in Russian (you should brush up your Russian before visiting Israel, it may come in handy what with the masses of immigrants from Russia!).
The beach of TelAviv is 10 km long and covered with light, nearly powdery sand. Due to the long weekend it was packed full, never in my life have I been on such ...

Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks, immaculately clean, the rooms are a great size, and the breakfast superb, I have stayed in many hotels in TelAviv. This hotel is a little out, more towards Yaffo, but in a way better as you are that bit away from the hustle and bustle, but still able to walk everywhere. You have the beach literally opposite, and taxis are very acessible. The rooms are modern and very spacious, clean and good sized bathrooms. The pool is a great size, does get a little to crowded in the summer, and difficult to order food or drinks, as so busy.
The lobby is huge, and very tastefully designed. In general the hotel makes a great stay, they have great security there too. ...
