I am 14. I went and visisted the Grand Canyon for a night and a morning. It was great. The drive was very long (from LA to Las Vegas then Las Vegas to Grand Canyon-9 hours approx) but it was worth it. We went for at the night to watch the sunset and walked to one of the points through the forest. We saw deer and lots of exotic plants. The sunset looked great but it was a little scary sitting there on the edge with nothuing between you and the canyon. We also went in the morning and it seemed like a completely different experience in the daylight. I would definately go and if you plan to go to any of the adjacent states then visit.
