Advantages: Location, Room Size Disadvantages: Facilities offered were minimal.
I stayed in this hotel in August 2007 and the following is my view and opinion.
I would also like to state that on Ciao, this hotel is listed as a 1 star hotel, whereas in fact the Elysees Opera is a 3 star hotel. The hotel is named America Opera and Elysees Opera, i stayed in the Elysees Opera. I'm not sure as to why there are 2 names?
Location
The road of Rue de Turin was very easy to find. We got the Metro to the nearest stop, Rome, and we were provided with a small map illustrating the location. So we found the road and walked down it, only passing one hotel on the way down. This hotel was named The America Opera. However we had booked in to The Elysees OperaHotel. So we kept walking until we got to the end of the road. We decided that we would go to the hotel and ask for directions to our one. As we approached we ...
Advantages: Good hotel, good location Disadvantages: Small bathroom
I want to speak to you about the HotelOpera Cadet, located in Paris, next to the subway stop of Cadet. I was there in July near 4 days in this hotel and did not have problems ever.
First, it is good placed, so like already I've said, it has nearby both the subway and the buses.
I speak about a reformed hotel (though not too recently). It has 6 floors, 2 elevators and enclosedly private parkings. It has also rooms of meetings, lounge of breakfast and bar, to report of all kinds of rooms:
- 3 Suites
- 2 Superiors
- 3 Rooms for handicapped persons
- 45 Doubles
- 11 Triple ones (double beds with the supplementary one)
- 16 Triple ones of three beds
- 5 quadruple ones
In all the rooms we can find air conditioning (not all the hotels in Paris have air conditioning), soundproofing, decoration and modern furniture (this puts it ...
Advantages: Good city centre location, great froiendly staff Disadvantages: small rooms, poor showers.
The last of a Hungary trilogy - I promise!!
The KK OperaHotel wasn't my choice and I have mixed views about it. I'll be brief and to the point - no point in padding this one out
Location: Well being by the river is great, but this is in the centre of the old city , and is within spitting distance of the magnificent Opera House and right by the Opera Metro station; you can walk comfortably to the river in under 15 mins.
As a four star hotel costing £80-90 a night I would call this a 3 star 4 star hotel. It had some good feature and it had some bad features.
Let's start with the bad features.
1.The room was by my own experience of 4star hotels, a bit on the small side.
2.The bathroom/toilet door was spring loaded. Metal to metal door latches at even a moderate speed makes a resounding and irritating crash. Not good ...
