Advantages: Lots of facilities and good choice of restaurants Disadvantages: Rooms are more basic than you'd probably expected
When I travelled to Jamaica with work we stayed in a few hotels in different locations and the one we stayed in whilst in Ocho Rios was this one. I have to admit that although I was looking forward to it I was a little disappointed to be moving from the hotel we had stayed at in Negril as it was a luxury hotel. So I was hoping that this one would be nice in its own way!

Visited March 07.This was our first time at an All inclusive resort, so we chose our accomodation for the number of pools/bars & restaurants available. This hotel had plenty of all 3. I am an avid "review" checker and through trip advisor saw a mixed bag to say the least. Our personal experince of this hotel was wonderful. Check in went smoothly, rooms were a good size. It is worth e mailing the hotel directly before you arrive to ask for a high floor, south tower room, the views are stunning. All the restaurants were enjoyable, the Chinese being one of the best I've had, contrary to what other people say, you do not have to het up at the crack of dawn to book a table, so long as you're not too fussy about time you can go along at 11am and still have choice.
