Ah where should I start? No matter where you enter the Grand Place from you will notice the remarkable architechture of the buildings surrounding it! A big advantage of the square is that there are many pubs where you can relax and enjoy the view. On occasions, the whole of Grand Place is covered with a carpet of flower which is extraordinary. During the Christmas period there is a christmas market.
The only downside of Grand Place is that it could be a bit dangerous at night. The place is beautful at night but some of the local thugs hang around the area. Everything should be fine if one is in a big group of people!
I don't know what else to say to describe Grand Place. It is something that everyone must see for themselves.

Luckily, I've been to the Grand Place many times and I know how beautiful it is. There is so much more you could have said about the buildings, popularity of it and as Lexy says the extremely high prices! x

I lived in Brussels for a while and I never noticed any thugs hanging around the Grand Place...ever. I think they'd have been put off the extremely high prices charged by all the cafes surrounding the square! The flowers are only laid out a couple of times a year from what I recall? Lexy
