...GrandPlazaParkroyal Hotel is located in the good area of Yangon, Burma/Myanmar. It is situated near the downtown area and the standard of the hotel is acceptable even though it is not a 5 stars hotel. Just beside of the hotel, there is a shopping plaza for clothing and food. One of the biggest cinemas in myanmar is located beside the hotel. Bogyoke market, which is one of the toursit attractions for selling jewels, clothes and traditional presents, is very near (3 minutes walk) from the hotel location.
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The uniforms represent all races who live in Myanmar/Burma. Most of the local people hire conference rooms for business purposes in this hotel among so many hotels in Yangon....

Advantages: conglomeration of shops all on 1 street Disadvantages: crowded
...Orchard Rd is the most "famous" of all the shopping streets in Singapore. The main shopping centers are all on this street... Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City (takashimaya), and further down plaza singapaura and the like. On this street u will be able to shop to your hearts content, no matter what your taste and budget in clothes is. For there is the low budget This Fashion, where tops range from S$5 upwards... that being less than 2 quid... to the branded stores of DKNY, Gucci and the like to be found in shopping centers like taka, paragon and so on...
However, if one wants to get away from the frenetic atmosphere of Orchard rd (particularly on the weekends), there are many other shopping centers that will fufill your shopping needs...
in the suburban areas of singapore like tampines, bishan and yishun, there are many surburban malls...
