This is a museum celebrating the Grand Prix Car Racing. The Macau Grand Prix started in 1954 due to the enthusiasm of a group of Macau residents and the support of the authorities. The museum opened in 1993 to bring a closer relationship between the people and the event. Original Formula 1 models, motorcycles that have driven by world class champions are shown. Visitors will get a glimpse of the history of the development of the grand prix in this tiny city. There are around 20 cars on display. The Museum pays special tribute to people who have contributed to the Grand Prix. They are Ayrton Senna, John Corsmit, Teddy Yip, Paul Du Toil, Laurel and many others.

Besides, the racing simulators allow visitors to experience the excitment of being in the race track.

Address: Rua Luis Gonzaga Gomes, 431, basement (Tourism Activities Centre-CAT).

Opening hours: Everyday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Closed on Tuesdays).

Tickets: Under 10 and over 60: Free.
From 11 to 18: 5 patacas. Adults: 10 patacas.

This coming November will marked the 51st Grand Prix in Macau. There will be a lot of cool happenings in the city! Don't miss it!
