Advantages: Beautiful setting, well kept, good service and good restaurant, spa facilities included. Disadvantages: Uncomfortable bed and expensive unless booking through LateRooms.com.
We stayed in a standard double room over the Easter bank holiday weekend booking through Late Rooms. The hotel is beautiful, a converted country house overlooking the estuary, just outside the Lake District. The communal areas of the hotel are very well kept, reception staff were very helpful and the restaurant food was fantastic, although choice was limited for vegetarians. Spa facilities are including in the room price. We stayed in room 18 which had no view (expected since a standard room with a view was more expensive) and was quite small. Had we paid the full £180 room tariff we would have been disappointed with the room but for the £60 we paid with Late Rooms we were satisfied. Our main disappointment was the bed which left us aching in the morning! I would visit this hotel again but only at Late Rooms prices and next time I would ...
The hotel was offering some special offers last month so me and my boyfriend decided to stay there for the weekend when visiting London. It has an ideal location. We went down by train and it's only about 15 minutes walk from Euston station, or a few bus stops away. We arrived early so we left our luggage and was told to get back after 2. The lobby is not huge but nicely decorated. There is an Egyptian sculpture next to the lift, kind of like a replica of those you see in museum, quite special.
Again I have to praise its location. It didnot take us long before we reached New Oxford street by foot. Bear in mind it was January when the sale was still going on-I could start my shopping straightaway. We got back after lunch and the room was ready. It's a double room with a king size bed. The room is quite spacious with a plasma TV ...

Easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!
The Grange City Hotel is located in the city close to Fenchurch Street Station and Tower Bridge. it is a fantastic location for both Business visitors, (close to Lloyds of London and the Gherkin), and also for tourists.
Facilities wise they have an amasing range for a hotel in the middle of the city, they have a spa and a huge swimming pool which is a rareity in the area, they also have a private room for you to practice your golf swing. the bar is 24 hours and the two restaurants have a most delicious dishes (try the chocolate pudding with Tia Maria!)
Rooms wise the are modern and a good size with a small mini bar and well equiped bathroom, if you are really splashing out the penthouse is amazing! The best bit however is the view, many rooms look out on to the Tower ...
