CannesCannes is known as one of the most stimulating Places in the world:
With breathtaking sea views and many attractions that would print that romantic memory, Cannes will also spoil you with the high street shopping and the endless bars and restaurants that line the streets will never see you without a good meal, and that is without mentioning the beautiful sandy beaches along the coastline where you can relax and enjoy the french sun, you will also find sellers selling there souvenirs along the sidewalks and for a small fee you can rent chaise lounge and umbrellas to drink and take a nice relax in the shade.

Advantages: This is one amazing hotel with everything you want in one of the greatest cities of France Disadvantages: pretty much non-affordable for normal folks
will find the Palais d`Festival, where they have these celebrations every year, and the elder city as well with plenty of nice restaurants. They have a great selection of food and wine from the Provence region and seafood as well. And that at really affordble prices. I will gladly recommend `Pacific Express`(it ain´t as bad as it might sound) to everybody thinking of visiting Cannes.
I had a great time there, even though I was just staying there for 3 days for that presentation and I will recommend to at least see that historic hotel (18th century building I think) at least once when you´re around.

Advantages: Great place for people watching Disadvantages: a tacky novelty that wore off quickly

If you want historical facts about the place, or a list of hotels...you will not find it here.... but enjoy nonetheless.
Funzo's Fantastical French Follying Adventures (the catchy name I gave my trip) had to take in Cannes. Driving along the south coast after a dissapointed day in the overcrowded, far too English resort of Nice, Cannes seemed an ideal box to tick and the 40ft Motorhome trundled laboriously along the picturesque if not scary coastal road that can take you from Monaco to Marseille with the sea never leaving your eyeline.
The traffc to and from Cannes was about as busy as we had seen over the few weeks and the glaring neon ...
