Advantages Excellent facilities
Disadvantages Expensive to camp
The Great Langdale campsite as the name suggests is in the Great Langdale area where the Langdale Pikes lies in the Lake District. It is abt 10miles drive from the Amberside town.
Pros:Being managed by the National Trust, the campsite provides very good facilities. The showers are powerful with hot and cold water and you can adjust the temperatures of the water. And this campsite is one of the fews which provides 3-point sockets for power supply in the toilets. You can use it to charge your electronic appliances and also use your hair dryer..
There are also drying rooms available for you to dry your shoes, jackets whatever if they get damped. And noise level is kept to a minimum (no noise after 11pm as stated)Cons:
The parking area is not next to your tents, unlike other campsites where you park your car right next to your tent. And the camp area is quite rocky, so it is difficult to pitch your tent (do check the area before pitching).
Overall, a good campsite to use.

just a small point - the town is called 'Ambleside', one of the main Lake District settlements. Maybe you could mention more about the hill-walking in the area, which is the main reason that most people visit the Lakes.
