Great San Francisco Snow Party - Nov

Advantages: There are SO many thing so do!
Disadvantages: quite a lot of pollution in the downtown area

...I recently visited San Francisco on a holiday to California. I had seen pictures of the city beofre I went on Channel 5's 'Charmed'. The city is SO beautiful. The new stadium is tremendous, and it's fuly funded by companies - not the locals, so everyone can benefit from it! The golden gate bridge is gorgious, and forms such an awesome backdrop to the city! The city's so diverse and beautiful, almost every era of architecture is present somewhere! There's so much to do there! It's really close to the mountains in Tahoe -prime snow - and it's on the coast, so it's real close to everything! I would recommend visiting pier 39 - there's an amazing Ben and Gerry's stand there and their' Phish Food is gorgious.... Read review

...DonÕt miss any oportunity to visit San francisco. Having visited lots of North American cities, this has to be the one with the best vibe. Head for North beach and hang out at some of the Blues bars, the amazing Northern Lights bookstore - right on Jack kerouac Street - and eat at a massive variety of restaurants. Not to far from LA but feels like a million miles away - people in San francisco are friendly, direct and broad-minded. More eccentrics than you can shake a stick at but that just adds to the fun. A great base from which to start a journey up Highway 1 - head for the petrified forests, sample wine in the Napa valley and chill out in one of the many spas. Whoever thought bathing in mud could be such a hoot!?... Read review

Advantages: Beautiful city

...San Francisco is located on the West coast of the USA so it is quite far away. If you are planning to visit Hawaii it would make a great stop over to split the travel up and to help you catch up with your jet lag. San Francisco must be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is vibrant and of course has lots of great sites to see. I am sure it is easy to fall in love with such as city. It is a favorite with Chinese with a large Chinese community, hence the name Golden Gate Bridge. The rolling hills offer breath taking views as well as great fun. Don't forget to jump on a tram when you are there, miss it and you will truely regret it. The problem is that it is about 10 hours back in time, jet lag can be a problem.
