Wow, what an amazing place I just visited. I spent a whole day there. I really understood why it is a world wonder.

It is quite far from Beijing city center. There are some tour buses to there from city center in the morning time. You can take it from Tiananmen Square. That is what I did. It costs about 3 pounds. You can also take taxi. In China, it is easy to get taxi. But it's better to book one in hotel before you go.

The Great Wall was originally built in Qin dynasty. Then it was added and built up by many dynasties. The most famous part of Great Wall is called as BaDaLing in Chinese, which was built in Ming dynasty. This is the part most visitors choose to visit. The ticket for visiting BaDaLing is about 3.5 pounds. That's really a good exercise to walk on the Great Wall. Do prepare pair comfortable shoes before you go. And you will feel windy and chilly when you get very high, so take a shirt in case.

I became tired as long way walking, but I felt very relaxed and comfortable when I saw the Great wall flying like a dragon in the green. I saw pictures like that before. However, I only really felt how amazing it is when I really walked on.

Do take a chance to visit the Great Wall. If you go to China, this is the place I highly recommend.
