I visited the great wall about two years ago. I am not 100% sure which part in Beijing I visited but I am sure it wouldn\'t matter. All I can say is wow! The views are absolutely fantastic it is well worth the trip and I would do it again any day. You do need to be fairly fit if you want to see alot of it as its quite a long walk and your constantly going up and down. I would also recommend flat shoes as the steps on the wall sometimes slope on an angle and some steps are that big its like climbing a wall in itself. The part I went to had a toboggan ride you could take to the bottom. That was such great fun definately recommend that if you get the chance. There are also some nice stalls selling various products including souvenirs, snacks, fruit etc which are nice to have a look around on your way back down. Overall fantastic trip if you go to China it is a must see!!!
