Advantages: Fun for all the family. Lots to do for everybody. Disadvantages: Does get very busy in the summer time.
...can I say about sunny Great Yarmouth? Well, it's the main seaside town in Norfolk, busy in the summer and as dead as a doormat in the winter! This is a popular town in the summer months with tourists, and if you have ever visited the town, then you will understand why! Having lived here for the past 15 years, I've seen a lot of changes in the town, some for the better, and some for the worse. I'll do my best to tell you all about the place, and try ... ...a smaller sized jetty - great for fishing. And then there's the Marina Centre with a large swimming pool in, a play area upstairs for the kids and an indoor bowling green. There's a gym, sauna, and numerous other activites and functions here. There's a big auditorium that holds many different kinds of shows and acts in the summer.

Advantages: Great to be there in good weather Disadvantages: More busy than it should be?
...my experiences and impressions of Great Yarmouth in general. So, is it really as great as the name makes it out to be?
My first indication that we were getting close to Yarmouth, having never been there before, was the fact that I was starting to see a lot of rivers and dare I say marsh land. I was a little surprised to encounter quite a few single carriageway roads so close to Yarmouth, considering what a huge tourist sight it actually is, although ... ...lot of roundabouts.
A great range of shops were actually on offer on the outskirts of Yarmouth, with some good parking, and whilst there was quite a lot of traffic it seemed to move faster than perhaps it would in Cambridge. They had huge versions of TK Max, Sports World, a drive through McDonalds, and whilst we have very similar areas in our city it is always fun to visit them in what almost feels like a different country. How can you not go to ...

Great Yarmouth is one of the most popular seaside towns around. THE most popular, I should imagine, on the East coast. As you enter Yarmouth on the famous Acle Straight, you are soon aware of the tourist industry, with signs pointing you in the direction of the seafront, a caravan park to the left, and a sign to the Pleasure Beach.
The town is fairly large, with plenty of high street shops to look around. There is a market on Wednesday's and Saturday's. ... ...the summer months. There is the Market Gates shopping centre with a big cafe in with views of the town. St George's Park is the town's main park. This is quite big, with a small place for children to play in with swings and slides etc. On the seafront, this is more commonly known as the 'Golden Mile'. The Golden Mile stretches from Britannia Pier to the Pleasure Beach. Britannia Pier hosts a number of summer shows, which have seen the likes of The ...

...chance! This took a great deal of thinking about....a guilty pleasure! At first I thought of shopping but thats not a shocking revelation - you all know that I'm addicted anyway. So I came up with Great Yarmouth!?!
I have to admit I love Yarmouth (cringe!). Yarmouth is a small Blackpool situated on the Norfolk coast, between Norwich and Lowestoft. I am not going to slate the place as it a vital part of my local economy but I do have to say that ... ...to the shops. Not great - theres a shopping centre (Market Gates) with a few high street shops in but the main area is around Marks & Spencers. Theres a BHS, Boots, WHSmith, River Island, Body Shop and Argos. If you want to go clothes shopping - Yarmouth certainly isn't the place (have a day out to Norwich!). The market is very traditional and does excellent chips! (do not stay in Yarmouth too long as all the chips will make you fat!). Supermarkets....well ...
