Advantages: Weather, Clubbing, food, friendly Disadvantages: can be quite expensive in certain places
...When two of my friends decided to get married (to each other) in AyiaNapa Cyprus last year (September 2003) I jumped at the chance for a two week break away with them and 50 others to share in their big day. As someone who thought Ibiza was the clubbing capital AyiaNapa never really appealed to me, my two weeks there changed my mind completely.
Hotel
We actually stayed outside AyiaNapa in Nissi Bay, at an apartment complex called ‘Stavrolia’ (Nissi Bay is about a three minute taxi ride or twenty minute stroll from AyiaNapa) the apartments were very clean and spacious and the cleaners were regular and through in their duties, there were balconies in every apartment (two in mine). The resort is run by a friendly man called Christophe who is aided my various family members and an old family friend called Lucy who does most...

Advantages: Great Atmosphere, Great for all people Disadvantages: Lots of Young People
...I went to AyiaNapa this summer. It was the best holiday of my life. Recently there has been a lot of bad press about the clubber's island of paradise and the question I put to you is whether it is worth going?
AyiaNapa began as a small fishing port but has now become about as big as IBIZA attracting several thousands of UK tourists every month. However from being there this summer I do not believe it to only be a place for clubbers.
Yes you can party all night in AyiaNapa, yes there are several drunk people but there is also another side to the place which could attract families. There is the beaches. The other side...

Advantages: Sunny, good nightlife Disadvantages: Taxis rip you off!
...what they want!] However during the day there is a bus that runs all the way through AyiaNapa at 70c per journey! This also runs from Paralimini----> AyiaNapa waterpark for the same price! BARGIN!
Water world is a must! Its Europes largest THEMED water park and has a wide variety of slides/pools and is great for a family day out, or if you just want to cool down somewhere other than the beach or pool. Cost to get in is approx £14-£16 cypriote, however vouchers for money off are available from reps, hotels, taxis etc and are worth getting!
Nightlife is a big part of AyiaNapa... many themed bars are situated around the 'square' full of PR'S offereing free drinks to get you into the bars! These are good offers and give you a cheap night so take advantage of them!
The castle club is the biggest club in Napa, housing 4 rooms...
