Kavos with 2wenty's - Ekati Apartments
Advantages: The reps make the holiday. 2wentys reps are the advantage Disadvantages: Drinks can be expensive and you only get 1 roll of toilet roll for 1 week
...and my friend went to Kavos i was very nervous as i had never been on a 2wentys holiday before although i had an idea what to expect it wasnt like that at all. Anything goes in Kavos and if you just mingle and go with the flow you will have the holiday of a lifetime! I literally arrived back yesterday morning 09/06/07 which meant we went for the early season and it was just getting busier as we were leaving but this didn't spoil our holiday. Me and ... ...the first night but the reps soon got me a room of my own for free for the rest of the holiday and they really look after you (my friend and i made up the day after). The food and the cigarettes are really cheap (about £10 for a 3 course meal with a drink and about £1.75 for 20 cigarettes) but the drinks are about £2 each depending on what your fave tipple is so not that cheap but you do get offers. Try to book nights out with your reps as this makes ...

Skiathos Town
Advantages: Lovely Town, cheap, nice food, gorgeous weather Disadvantages: If you want lots to do you need to rent a car
I went to Skiathos last year for the first time with my boyfriend. We just wanted a week in the sun, lie by a pool followed by some nice food and something to do in the evening.
We flew out from Gatwick via First Choice in June. Flight was quite short, then onto a coach which was not too bad either. The hotel we stayed in was called La Pisine Art Hotel. From the outside the hotel looked nice but the area around it was still quite undeveloped. As ... ...you can actually see from Skiathos Town harbour. Our hotel was about 5mins walk away from Skiathos Town. We went down every evening, started off somewhere to have a cocktail! and then picked a restaurant for dinner. We had some gorgeous food, the traditional greek food out there was just lovely. If you are a seafood fan, you can get the fresh catch of the day in most of the restaurants. Shopping! there are some great little shops in Skiathos town, ...

THASSOS THE EMERALD ISLE
Advantages: History on your doorstep. And that RED WINE. Disadvantages: Had to come home.
We decided on Thassos this year, we were going to go to KOS but that fell by the wayside due to the XL Failure that dragged KOSMAR down.
So as THASSOS is the most northernly of the Greek Islands we chose to go in June, normally we holiday in May.
On the run up to the holiday I kept checking the weather to find in May the tempretaures were in the 80's and sunny days, would it change.
As it turned out we had two weeks of wall to wall sunshine.
... ...to be on, the Blue Thassos Ferry, and how long before sailing.
We had 35 mins, so time for that first Cold MYTHOS Beer at one of the water front Tavernas.
The ferry crossing only takes about 35 mins. There seems to be a tradition of feeding the Seagulls as the ferry sails along, they keep flying alongside.
You dock at Thassos Town or Linemas as the local name is.
You are then either Bussed or Taxied to your accommodations where you willl find ...

Halkidiki - Haniotti
Advantages: Great weather, food & people Disadvantages: None
Halkadiki was my favourite holiday!
I went with my friend and we had such an amazing time!
Great weather, clean beach with pleanty of loungers and not too busy either! The night life was great. Where we were staying ( Haniotti) wasn't full of night clubs but full of fancy little cocktail bars and greek tavernas. The bars were great! the Sunshine was our favourite. The barmen were great fun and there was lots of tasty cocktails on offer and the ...

Greek Lovers Holiday from Heaven
Advantages: peaceful and quiet yet bustling and vibrant. beautiful beaches and scenery. Warm and friendly locals. Disadvantages: None.
Having visited Parga myself with my family, we found it to be perfect in every sense. We stayed in a family owned and run apartment close to Valtos Beach, a lovely sandy beach and not too over populated.
Situated on mainland Greece, we flew to Preveza from where we had a short ferry trip before contiuing our journey by coach, the transfer time from airport to destination being about 1 hour 45 minutes.
Our apartment owner was so friendly as to be ... ...of the hill which separated valtos beach area of Parga from the main town area. Although quite steep it was still an enjoyable walk up to it and down again after a superb, extremely reasonably priced meal. On one occasion, he actually came across us walking towards the hill on his way to his taverna and gave us a lift to the top of the hill. The main town area is busy and vibrant but without the nightclub scene making it a perfect destination for ...
