Corfu Chandris Hotel, Dassia Corfu

Advantages: wonderful hotel
Disadvantages: drinks cheaper at pubs over the road.

...We stayed in the Corfu Chandris it also as apartments and bungalows set in well manicured grounds, the other hotel is the Dassia Chandris both set on the beach and views are beautiful!! The weather was glorious apart from one day rain. Bedrooms were large and airy with lovely 6ft size bed,tv,lounge area, mini-fridge(though drinks were expensive from here and the bar). Plus point was the safe was free. Bathroom wasn't that big but had all the usual, ...
...Hotel had free bus into corfu town. The lobby in the hotel is very impressive with restaurant overlooking the sea. They also had at this hotel along with the pool an out-door whirl pool and splash pool for children. Loungers and umbrellas are limited but you can go on the beach, but you are charged I think 5 euros a day for both items, this is where we spent most of our time. Thetis Studios Great Views from 107.

Advantages: Those Views over the breakfast table.
Disadvantages: Little Mythos at 2.5 Euros.

...min Bus Ride arrive outside Thetis Studios, where the Luggage system has worked, there are our two cases on the pavement outside the gate. Check in, or better to say Greeted by Mrs Thetis, ask her how she is in Greek and immediately become her favourite. The card our Rep gave us says Room 111, but quizical look by Mrs Thetis and a peep into 111 shows it is occupied. Never mind she says you have a better room 107, (that favourite thing again). ...
...on that, Mr & Mrs Thetis are a very nice couple and run a tight ship. They request a quiet time around the pool from 3 till 5 in the afternoon. You have to appreciate this is siesta time, very necessary in a hot country where people work long into the evening. Odysseus Hotel, Paleokastritsa, Lovely Location.

Advantages: Location,Location,Location.
Disadvantages: Hilly, mosquitoes.

...and I stayed in the Odysseus Hotel Paleocastritsa last May. We had a lovely time and the hotel was clean and comfortable. It is in the most beautiful postion,overlooking one of the many bays in Paleokastritsa (when you look down from above it‘s the heart shaped one). ...a sea view room, as not only are you guaranteed a fantastic view you will probably get a much larger balcony. Ours was big enough for a table and two chairs. We stayed half board, and we thought the food was good. The breakfast was basic although the yoghurt was lovely. Skamnos Hotel: the best place to stay in Arachova- Delphi area.

Advantages: Close to ski centre, magnificent view, nicely set of welness area
Disadvantages: in case you don't have a car is impossible to stay here.

...during winter season. I visited SKAMNOS also in the summer time and had a terrific time using the pool and the outdoor jacuzzi. We did excursions in the area such as trekking, mountain bike and of course we visited Delphi. I love to stay on SKAMNOS boutique Hotel and to visit evening Arachova as it is too crowed to stay there the whole day. Historic, Romantic Silde Apts. Chania - Beautiful

Advantages: amazing views, central location, beautiful apartment
Disadvantages: balcony not ideal for children

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night as part of a romantic getaway I prebooked for during our stay in Stalis, Crete(on the the other side of the island) and we were not dissapointed! We booked out the room at the top with its brilliant views and it was certainly worth the 10euros extra. The showroom/en-suite was rather tiny(not ideal if you have children) but the kitchen was well kitted out. Air-con was free, as was internet (laptop could be provided ...
