Corfu Chandris Hotel, Dassia Corfu

Advantages: wonderful hotel
Disadvantages: drinks cheaper at pubs over the road.

...We stayed in the Corfu Chandris it also as apartments and bungalows set in well manicured grounds, the other hotel is the Dassia Chandris both set on the beach and views are beautiful!! The weather was glorious apart from one day rain. Bedrooms were large and airy with lovely 6ft size bed,tv,lounge area, mini-fridge(though drinks were expensive from here and the bar). They also had at this hotel along with the pool an out-door whirl pool and splash pool for children. Blessed location, bad administration

Advantages: Location
Disadvantages: Expensive, poor service, aging facilities

We stayed with our six-month old baby in August 2009 in a sea view bungalow. We booked in the hope that we could relax for a week, but this was not to be. We had a series of problems such as a non-functioning mini bar (despite our repeated requests it was never seen to.) Also our room was not cleaned even though we reminded them of it, and when they did they forgot to replace the towels. The worst part is that often on the weekends the restaurant ...
...for wedding parties and our weekend there was no exception. Even though they knew that we had a baby they never warned us about this (our room was 20 meters from the restaurant). Our repeated requests to the duty manager left us with vague replies that 'it will soon end' and this went on until 04:00 am. So, two consecutive nights with a restless baby and taut nerves. Take this into consideration as it can ruin your weekend - you can forget about ...

Top Class Hotel

Advantages: Good location top qua;ty near beach in between rhodes town and falaraki
Disadvantages: Nothing close by

THis hotel has a great location private beach and has excelent facilites,Room as large spaceous and comfertable and food is excelent an all round top hotel with good qaulity facilites it is modern family friendly with plenty to do. Although the say its in Falaraki it is actually about 2 kilometers from faliriaki so you are close enough to go there but far enough away if you wan some peace and quiet. Manessi is one of the best hotels in Poros.

Advantages: much nicer than typical expected Greek accomodation
Disadvantages: slight more expensive than usual Greek accomodation but well worth it.

After spending some two weeks on Poros island we were more than pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this beautiful hotel. Situated in the heart of the town, the Manessi hotel has some of the most beautiful views in the island. Staying in a small Greek we were not expecting the high level of luxury and comfort which we found in the Manessi hotel. Not King minos's palace but a nice family resort - Camari Gardens

Advantages: Reasonably priced, clean, accom, two pools, free sunbeds, free internet
Disadvantages: A bit quiet for tennagers and certainly not clubs and bars bearby if you like that
