Lunch was salads, a pasta, 2 veg and maybe 3 meat dishes - however very samey every day. Dinner was the same type of thing as lunch with maybe more meats dishes and pasta. This review is not going to be very positive but that's not to say I didn't enjoy my stay there - but I know many didn't and many wouldn't enjoy it. I went on an all inclusive basis and paid less than £600 pp for 2 weeks. This is a fantastic price so my expectations were not high. The bar service was good, normally no queue but occasionally a queue of 5 minutes or so - some complained about this but this is no more than you might wait in any hotel or pub. Breakfast - good choice of rolls and breads, cold meats bacon, eggs done 3 ways etc. Breakfast was really good. Lunch was salads, a pasta, 2 veg and maybe 3 meat dishes - however very samey every day. Dinner was the same type of thing as lunch with maybe more meats dishes and pasta. The food tasted OK but there were 3 problems - 1. Too much repetition of dishes, same food day in, day out. 2. I am veggie and choices were limited - they put ham through most of the salads and pastas. 3. Often plates were dirty - that's the deal breaker for most. Most of the plates were ok but there were often plates that the dishwasher struggled with, on top of the piles, of course no-one took them so they always were on display. Entertainment was ok for kids under 10, with games during day and a 1/2 hour disco at night for the youngest (hokey cokey etc). For adults it was awful - although some comedy could be derived from watching the same girls come in on alternate nights and mime badly, dancing to different music. Spanish night, then oriental night etc. some nights there was nothing. Rooms were cleaned 5 times a week which was good. Plenty of sunbeds available around pool area and good service at pool bar. Hotel is 2 minutes walk from nice little beach but there is little else in the resort - not a big deal when it is 1 Euro on the bus or 4 Euros in a taxi to Puerto Rico. No air conditioning made for some uncomfortable nights but you get what you pay for and you can hire a fan. I would not go back because of the food and I like all inclusive but I would not necessarily recommend it for self catering either (it is an aparthotel). The only cooking facilities were 2 electric rings, toaster, kettle and a fridge. This is for you if you want a cheap base in a quiet town and you plan to eat out and can cope with heat at night. Not for you if you like cool rooms, cooking sometimes, eating in the hotel or going all inclusive.
