The park in open from February half term to the end of October but the opening times vary, for example, from mid March to beginning of September the park is open from 10 am to 5.30pm. It is always advisable to get there early, as it can be very busy during the summer holidays.

(Its worth noting that disabled visitors and their carers get a 50% reduction).
Car parking is free and there are the usual gift shops, toilets, cafes and snack bars in the park that are all accessible for wheelchair users. There are a number of eating places scattered around the park where you can buy a meal or snack at very reasonable prices.
There are also a number of rides - Moon Karts being a particular favourite with the children, where pedal powered one or two seater quad bikes and trikes are ridden around a track. Children of all ages at catered for, from toddlers to teenagers, but there are some height and age restrictions in place on some activitiies and rides, like the Green Dragon Rollercoaster.
There are also a number of events held throughout the year, including, a magician show and circus workshops and there are extras like the Rabbit Village.
I have visited this Park a couple of times now and am really impressed by the way it is laid out and the variety of rides and activities on offer. My husband always enjoys the archery. The grandchildren enjoy the Pets Corner and the toddler park
However, it is worth phoning 01248 670076 to see what activities are on, on any particular day.
The only disadvantage is that you need fine weather.
