This family park was set up in 1993 by Stephen and Andres Bristow and is situated mid way between Bangor and Caernarfon just a few minutes from A55 Coast Road at a place called Y Felinheli.

For Sat . Nav users the postcode is LL56 4QN.

The park in open from February half term to the end of October but the opening times vary, for example, from mid March to beginning of September the park is open from 10 am to 5.30pm. It is always advisable to get there early, as it can be very busy during the summer holidays.

Prices also vary between £6.85 and £9.80 per adult and £5.75 and £ 8.95 for a child depending on what time of the year it is. However, you can get good discounts on family tickets. e.g. for 2 adults and 2 children the prices range from £22.50 in the low season to £33.60 in the high season. This price includes all rides and entertainment in the park.

(Its worth noting that disabled visitors and their carers get a 50% reduction).

Car parking is free and there are the usual gift shops, toilets, cafes and snack bars in the park that are all accessible for wheelchair users. There are a number of eating places scattered around the park where you can buy a meal or snack at very reasonable prices.

There are also a number of rides - Moon Karts being a particular favourite with the children, where pedal powered one or two seater quad bikes and trikes are ridden around a track. Children of all ages at catered for, from toddlers to teenagers, but there are some height and age restrictions in place on some activitiies and rides, like the Green Dragon Rollercoaster.

There are also a number of events held throughout the year, including, a magician show and circus workshops and there are extras like the Rabbit Village.

I have visited this Park a couple of times now and am really impressed by the way it is laid out and the variety of rides and activities on offer. My husband always enjoys the archery. The grandchildren enjoy the Pets Corner and the toddler park

However, it is worth phoning 01248 670076 to see what activities are on, on any particular day.

The only disadvantage is that you need fine weather.

I've been here, basically its just for younger kids aged up to about ten, and there aren't any good rollercoasters (including the people powered one which you could eat have a picnic on its so slow!). Me, my mum and my dad were so bored when we came here, its just not worth going to for a whole day, the only thing for the whole family to enjoy was the archery. Great review, glad you like it here but I'm afraid I won't be visiting again! xxxxxx
