The food at the Grinch is really really good. The food is all freshly cooked and there are plenty of unusual combinations to suit everybodys taste. The menu consists of ciabattas, salads and pastas. The pizzas in particular are delicious - for example: duck and hoisin pizza, sweet chilli chicken pizza and chicken caesar salad pizza. The pizza bases are light, thin and crispy and the toppings are generous.
Between 5 and 7 the pizzas are on happy hour special for £5 each. However, they are usually priced at around £8 each. A bottle of house wine is priced at around £12 a bottle - which isn't too bad. Typical ciabatta sandwiches are around £6 each and salads are about the same price.

The service is friendly and efficient - we were served food speedily. Although it can be difficult to place an order because the wine bar does get a little noisy!!
My only complaint about the Grinch is the 10% service charge which is added to the bill for parties of 6 or more. Although the staff in the Grinch do deserve a tip, I do not like being forced to tip - I think it should be a matter of personal discretion rather than automatically been placed on the bill.
