Grosvenor House Jin Jiang Hotel, Shanghai

...My fiancee and I stayed for 3 nights at the Grand Hyatt in Shanghai at the begining of August. It was fantastic! We were met at Pudong Airport ( which is so modern and efficient) by a new Buick, then taken to the Hotel. That took 45 mins. The luggage was taken on the ground floor, and as we had a Grand Club room, our check-in was on the 83rd Floor. Our room was on the 80th floor, and the view was amazing! We had a corner room, and views of the Bund and Pudong. The attention to detail was everywhere, and the double sided entry to the robe is a great idea. The Grand Club Lounge serves Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Cocktails included in the room rate, which for us was $228US a night, plus 15% service charge. ...the road of shanghai always named by the famous city in china,if you familiar with china ,you can remember them easyly. sofitel JJ oriental hotel just located in yanggao nan road pudong district. the building is very capacious ,it is one of the best hotel in shanghai ,even in china and in the world . all of the worker are ready to help you with a smile in every mininute. clean facility,excellent decoration,all of these will make you feel at home. moreover,the trasferport is very convienient ,it is good for you to reach which places you would like. you can hardly oversee the whole shanghai city from the high building ,and enjoy the evening scene of shanghai. i think it is a comfortable things... ...The Shanghai Museum is the only museum worth going to in Shanghai. It houses an impressive collection of stone artifacts, jugs, ancient keys dating to 2000 BC and an amazing collection of coins and costumes from China's 120+ ethnic groups. The museum has tried to show the diversity within China and all its composite parts which is truly rare. China normally concentrates on its conformity and its homogenous traits. This museum truly explores all of the richness of China's history through its art. An even more interesting story about the Shanghai Museum is that during the time of the Cultural Revolution, when all art and academic works were being destroyed by the Communist regime, Shanghai's inhabitants donated their furniture, books and paintings to the museum in an effort to preserve them and the history they contained...
