The Grupotel Macarella stands just behind the marina of Cala n Bosch. The reception has a staircase up to the pool area and lifts situated round the hotel offer easy access to the various floors. The hotel Macarella sets standards with its food which is excellent and fresh meats cooked fresh for you when you go up to the buffet area. The restaurant and tables are set out for a good dining experience.
Entertainment is sparse, but its own entertainers make sure the kids are catered for with its mini discos. The hotel is ideal for couples rather than families with more than one child. The pool area is not bustling and sunbeds should be quite easily obtained, the hotel removes any towels saved on sunbeds for long periods.

Personally, the invention of the dishwasher has been one of the greatest inventions of recent times. As both myself and my wife work, we need to maximize the quality time we get together. What better way to accomplish this than to shove all the pots and pans into a dishwasher, forget about it for a couple of hours and then put them all away when dry. Advantages: Great For Families and Kids Disadvantages: Decor & maybe not suitable for couples
The hotel Cala n Bosch is situated in the resort of Cala n Bosch which also happens to be the furthest resort that you could possibly get to from Mahon Airport.
The hotel itself towers above Cala n Bosch and can be seen as you drive down the main road that comes from Ciutadella approaching the resort. Transfer times could be 1 hour to 1 hour 30 depending on time of day or if you have other stops.
The resort of Cala n Bosch is set around a pleasant, relaxing and friendly man-made marina with an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafés. It also features a kiddies play area called the Goodie Goodie restaurant which is packed with fun and activities for kids and teenagers.
