If your looking for sun, sea, sand and sangrias for your hols this year but your on a 'credit crunch' style budget then Lanzarote may be the one for you! I have visited Lanzarote twice, once as a child and once in October last year and have fallen in love with the place. We stayed in Playa De Los Pocilos which is a small quiet town just outside the main capital of Puerto Del Carmen which is the place to visit if you are after a more lively holiday. Towns such as Costa Tequise, Playa Blanca and Playa De Los Pocillos are for the more quieter folk.

Our transfer to the hotel was smooth and only took 40 minutes from the airport of Arrecife to the resort of Playa Blanca where we were staying. We arrived at our hotel, the H10Lanzarote Princess and were very pleasantly surprised as it was a very attractive hotel both inside and out. The lobby was immaculately clean with beautiful plants and attractive chairs and tables. The reception team were very helpful and spoke fantastic English. We had our dinner and went to bed for an early night after the days travelling.

Myself,my partner and our three year old daughter stayed at this complex in Playa Blanca this august 2007. We booked it only a few days before with only one pic to identify it we did not know what to expect. The Weather was fantastic most days were above 35C and it wasn't too windy unlike other areas of Lanzarote. It has excellent self catering facilities, a spacious apartment we had 1 bedroom a kitchen area and living area and a big balcony. The kitchen had a kettle, microwave, hob and oven. You can hire lots of other electrical equipment from the hotel from toasters to dvd players! This complex is perfect for families with young children. There is a children and baby club run by the hotel where kids can go for a few hours morning or afternoon. The staff are very children orientated with lots of activities and games for children ...
