H10 Playa Meloneras Palace, Grand Canary

I have just returned from a week's rest at this lovely hotel and the worst thing about this holiday was the flight back . The first impression on arriving at the hotel set the scene for the rest of the holiday. We are usually apprehensive as to what to expect when we arrive at a new resort but this was soon dispelled. The reception area was spaceous and shiny bright , with a high arched ceiling and a piano being played over by the bar. The staff were superbly courteous and efficient . WARNING! Please read if you are intending to stay at H10 Playa Meloneras Palace, Grand Canary. We booked a week break to stay at what we thought was a 5 star hotel arriving late on Saturday night we went straight to our room which looked very nice and was well placed in the hotel 5th floor and overlooking the pool. When we woke up the next morning we noticed that we were infested with tiny spider like ants all around the room, we went to the welcome meeting and informed the Holiday rep and Hotel reception they agreed to fumigate the room whilst we were out, we found a load of these dead ... more
