Advantages: Comfortable hotel - handy for the metro Disadvantages: Characterless - can be expensive
much they charge for it but it was included in our rate. What a breakfast. It was a buffet with every kind of brekkie food imaginable. All of it good. Of course there's no way you can scoff bacon and eggs, sausages etc, then cakes and fruit and yoghurt and museli and...you get the picture. Suffice to say, it was probably the best breakfast I've seen in an hotel (of course that's not really saying much).
The hotel is surrounded by parkland, apart from aforementioned freeway ramp and it's a very short, but hair-raising walk to the metro station (around 200m). This was one of the reasons we chose this hotel as 10 mins or less on the metro and we stepped right out at the Colosseum.
In conclusion, the Sheraton is maybe not everyone's choice for a hotel in Rome, but it's very comfortable and really easy to get in and out of Rome ...
Advantages: Queue jumping, don't have to worry about entrance fees Disadvantages: Can not be cost effective
The Roma Pass was something a work colleague mentioned to me, although she did not know the name just there was some card thing that gets you benefits.
So I looked up things to do in Rome and eventually came across the website for the Roma Pass through a link from another website. The Roma Pass website is: http://www.romapass.it/?l=en
The website gave me a great insight as to what the card was, there are 2 types of cards, so it explains what both offer and how much they cost.
The standard (red) Roma Pass costs 23 Euros, and the Roma & Piu (blue) Pass costs 25 Euro's.
The website goes on to have tabs for museums, events, a virtual tour, information, download and buy. I opted not to buy ours online, and decided I would get them when there.
The website sells the cards with this strap line "The Cards that offers you ...

Advantages: Good Location, only two years old Disadvantages: Not many English in hotel
Well I am sure many of you have read my previous op on the H10 Med Village I stayed in in Salou. This was my second experience of staying in another Group H10 Hotel.
We visited La Nina in Costa Adeje just two weeks ago so everything about this hotel is fresh in mind.
On arrival to the hotel I thought it was a bit odd. Stuck in the middle of the main street with shops practically attached to the hotel and underneath it on a lower floor. Going into the reception area you just couldn't help but be amazed though. This looked like a classy hotel. Marble everywhere, a large reception desk on the right hand side, a large seating area and a massive winding stair case going down to the lower floor. Going in to the reception/entrance to the hotel you are going straight in on floor four. There are a total of 10 floors in this hotel ...
Elegant city hotel decorated in with the last tendences of the Italian design giving a touch of warmness to the ambience. Located at Quatiere Marconi a very commercial area well connected to the historical center and the Trastevere, one of the most charming neighborhoods famous for its narrow streets and restaurants.
