The hotel is only 15 Km from Tenerife Sur Airport making the transfer quite short. This was great after a 4 hour flight !!! This hotel is on Playa de las Américas beach, right next to the sea and there is direct access to the ocean promenade. I loved the way it is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The beach is just through a gate at rear of the pool area and The Veronicas and Starcos clubbing areas are about 5-10 mins walk away, as are a good variety of restaurants.

Reception and booking in was quick, straight forward and staff very polite and helpful. You are given a 'passport' for the hotel so show you are a guest there. This need to be presented at meal times. You are also given a ticket which allows free entrance to the casino attched to the H10 Gran Tenerife which is about 15-20 minutes walk from La Nina. Also given a booklet of useful info about the hotel and a pool towel ticket which could be exchanged at the pool for a towel and on the return you get another ticket which again you can exchange again the next day or when you needed it. Word of warning, don't loose these tickets, they will charge you 15 euros! The key to your room is like a credit card which they also give you when you book in.
So all checked in off we went to find our room. We were only floor six, only two floors up from ...
