The Location Of Europark Hotel The Europark is a three star hotel in L'Eixample district on Arago. It is in a fantastic location very close to the Passeig de Gracia and a short walk to Las Ramblas and the Barri Gotic (about fifteen minutes walk). The metro and trains get you anywhere you want to go in Barcelona and its only a five minute walk to the nearest station. The metro and trains are reasonably priced. Metro is 1 euro per ride. Train from airport to bottom of Arago was 6.50 euros each way. Built in the former building of the Philippines Tobacco Company it has been converted to a very high standard with all the facilities you?d expect from a modern city centre hotel while maintaining the character of the pre-existing architecture. Lovely clean hotel

Advantages: Amazing food, great rooms, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Small pool, hen parties

very filling and good value. The pool There was a pool up on the rooftop. I went to use it one day but found that it was quite small and not really the kind of pool you would sit by with a book. The area was a good suntrap though. Most hotel visitors seemed to head out rather than stay around the hotel. Clientele There weren't many families in this hotel - I have put average for this as I don't think it is a family focussed type of hotel. More for business visitors and city break types. As we were checking out, there was a rather loud hen party arriving, which may have livened the place up a bit. Local area The hotel is within walking distance of a subway station, supermarket, pharmacy and other amenities. The subway in Barcelona is easy to use to reach the tourist attractions.
