As an ex-Royal Navy man this ship has always fascinated me.
I have been a supporter for around 18 years and although (through distance - I live in the Midlands) I have only been able to visit a few times and being disabled didn't always make it easy, I think this is a truly wonderful ship restored to a really high level and manned by volunteers who are totally committed to its preservation and extremely keen to pass on their enthusiasm to all showing interest.
If you become a supporter (£10. p.a.) you will receive Warrior News twice a year. This colourful bulletin is excellent in reviewing both historical facets and current and future plans - these included Sea Shany evenings and other social occasions.
Also provides the opportunity to actually contribute - i.e., when restoring the main deck it was possible to sponsor your own plank - mine is plank Port 32 and cost £15!!
