Advantages: Lots of screens, wide variety of performances Disadvantages: No character, food prices
...Odeon Leeds/Bradford has replaced Odeon Bradford for good. OK, so it might be more comfortable, have more screens, more showings and have a HaagenDazs Cafe, but it's just not the same.
Odeon Bradford was built in the 1930's and had that unique character that only cinemas built before multiplex-mania have. It had 3 screens in comparioson to O L/B's 10, a bar and a restaurant.
Now, if you've never visited Odeon Bradford, then go, by all means. It's a chain cinema, and chain cinemas I hate almost as much as I hate chain department stores. They're boring, they're repetative and they're characterless. But it's just not the same as Bradford Centre's three-screener.

Advantages: All you need for a day out in one place. Disadvantages: Car parking fee is quite expensive, but then isn't it in most places?

There are several restaurants and cafes by the riverside to eat at including places for a quick snack like McDonalds, Pizza Hut and the HaagenDazs shop. Not to mention Cafe Nero for a coffee. Or if you are looking for a meal out then there are several restaurants available for a mid shopping break.
The Oracle is also a good place for an evening out. You can go to View, the cinema and then a nice meal followed by a few drinks in Brannigans.
The bar and restaurants are all centred around the river so it makes it a great place to sit and watch the water go by. It is especially nice in the evening when it is lit up.
Also if you wish to stray outside of The Oracle on your day out you will find two main streets of shops, plus several interlinking roads with other shops, restaurants and bars. There is also another...

...like John Lewis, Marks & Spencers and a large Primark, Virgin Megastore and TK Maxx.
If you want to do some shopping in peace you can either leave the children at home with a responsible adult! or book them into the creche as long as they are between the the ages of 3 months - 5 years.
Lilliput Creche is open the same time as the shops, prices are not bad for 1 hour it is £2.99 maximum of 2 hours, prices are also available if you want to shop for longer. Mornings £19, Afternoons £17, Full day £32, and 5 days £155 which would beneficial if you worked in the surrounding area.
Places to eat are not hard to find, if you just fancied a snack and a cup of cappucino there are Cafes by the truck load, Cafe Italia, Caffe Nero, HaagenDazs Cafe (My Fav) Cafe Giardino (excellent Chicken Tikka Ciabata), Pret-a-Manger.
