Mixed reviews then? Who knows but I'm immature and I just like laughing at the gibberish translations.
CONCLUSION
This was actually better that I'd expected, so thanks to our very low expectations it wasn't a bad experience overall. But ...
Advantages: famous, the TV tower and maybe also the worldtime clock Disadvantages: some places are dirty, some awkard people
any exclusive or unusual stores there. I think that is a pity in such a famous area of Berlin that is visited by so many tourists. But at least the prices are quite low and you find everything you need- from food to books and clothes.
All shops open around 9am (some at 10am) and close at 8pm.
4. Hungry?
Nobody has to starve at the Alexanderplatz, there are a few possibilities to satisfy hunger.
For just a little bit money and very fast you can eat in one of 5 fast food restaurants, namely 2 Burger Kings, McDonalds, Subay, Dunkin' Donuts.
In the station are also a few more little snack shops.
Those who look for a "real" restaurant, can go to the Telecafé up in the TV Tower or you make a short walk to the Hackescher Markt, on the way you will pass by many restaurants. I can recommend you the Thai Inside, a very good Thai ...
