My husband and I stayed in this hotel after having problems catching the ferry to Amsterdam ( look out soon for my DFDS Seaways review) and so we needed a place to stay overnight until we could catch the ferry the next day.
In the Innkeeper's Lodgehotel booklet this particular hotel come under the name of Newcastle Airport but although it was in the direction of the airport it wasn't exactly nearby. The location is a few minutes off of the dual carriageway. We could actually see a medium-sized roundabout from our bedroom window but actually it is in more of a village location and the area was relatively quiet and we didn't get disturbed at all by traffic or pedestrians.
If anyone hasn't come across an Innkeeper's Lodge before then the best way to describe it is that it's in the English country pub type style. Thats the only ...

I stayed on Saturday 25 October 2008 because of its (reasonably) close proximity to Earls Court where I was attending an exhibition.
There was another similar rated hotel behind the underground station but it was reported to be very noisy and I thought a 10 minute walk from hotel to destination would be refreshing, which it was.
This hotel is on a busy main road on the corner of a junction, but inside the big old building you were not really aware of this. I think the hotel just had about 14 rooms in total, so not a busy place.

Perfect Location for myself as I arrived into Newcastle by Train and your turn right at the train station and your there , no taxi needed.

The hotel reception area is very nice , with this amazing light ficture which is so sparkly. The rception staff are very friendlly aswel. It looks very nice for a 3 star hotel , i would give it 4 easy!

Nice room , spacious and they gave me free water and a biscuit , nice touch. There was a en -suite bathroom and a view. There was also room service option.
