Advantages: Sandals in genuinely "All Inclusive", and oozes quality Disadvantages: Jamaica seems festooned with hustlers
...I went to Sandals MontegoBay for 2 weeks in August 1997 for my honeymoon. It seemed pricey at first glance (it was about 3400 ukp for us both) but this turned out to be pretty good value for money.
The food was excellent, there were at least 5 restaurants to choose from including a Chinese, an Italian and an A La Carte, all at least four courses. You could also pop along to Sandals Royal Jamaican or Sandals Inn for a change. Sandals Royal Jamaican has an excellent Indonesian restaurant you have to get to in a "traditional" Balinese boat, but it's well worth the effort. All of the staff did their best to give you a good holiday and the activities were enjoyable, though you weren't forced to join in.
The resort is private, some people think this means you miss a lot but we weren't there to soak up the local culture, and I think...

Advantages: clean, spacious, tidy Disadvantages: slow service, poor air conditioning
...I went to Jamaica in August 2004, flying from Manchester to MontegoBay via MyTravel airlines.
Although it was my first time travelling to the country, my dad who flew with me has been several times before however he usually flies directly to Kingston.
After a 9 hour flight, I was pleasantly supprised to arrive at such a clean and tidy airport. It appeared that clean and tidy...that it actually seemed rather empty, but at least it looked nice.
Despite the hot mid-august temperatures, the airports air conditioning wasn't up to much. Infact the air conditioning consisted of a few low power fans placed in the corner of arrivals! This definately wasn't one of the best things about the airport!
The next downfall came when we tried to get through check in. This was amazingly slow! It brought a new dimension to the term Jamaican...

Advantages: Clean, Tidy Disadvantages: Staff not very friendly
...My father lives in Jamaica so i go out to visit him every other year or two.
I love travelling and i enjoy being on a areoplane i have to admit the only thing i do dreed about the whole travelling experience is landing at MontegoBay airport after a 9 hour flight.
Yes i'm more than thankful to have my feet on the ground and to have finally reached my destination but i find the whole process of going through the airport a nightmare. You'd think i would have got use to it the amount of times i done it but last years visit was the worse.
I flew out with my two small children , partner. my mum my brother, his girlfriend and little boy.
Once you get off the plane the first thing that hits you is the heat which is only expected as your coming from a cold country to a hot one. You have to walk what seems like miles to get...

The Indesit Moon is, as far as kitchen appliances go, a thing of beauty. Whilst I know deep down that it is very very wrong to like a washing machine this much, darn it, I just can't help myself!
I'm going to be straight with you - housework isn't my more
I am not sure how I came upon this book in the first place, but I am very glad that I did! The Gardens of the Moon starts out as quite a confusing book, mainly because there are several main characters and very little information is given regarding... more
My sister has owned BeneFit’s High Beam for a while now and although she said how good she thought it was I never thought it looked quite so good on my skin as it is slightly darker. A few months back they had 3 for the price of 2 on BeneFit products in more
