...Eastrop Park is situated just outside Basingstoke town centre, qutie close to the fountains. There is a pedestiranised walk from the town centre to the park making it safe for kids and pets alike. The road leading to it is generally quiet with spped retrictions in place.
The is three expanses of water in Eastrop Park, A kiddies pool, popular in the summer, very shallow, and cleaned regullary allowing younger kids to play and cool down in the summer. There is a reasonable lake on which you can take paddleboats and rowing boats in the summer for about £2 quid per Adult, About a £1 for kids, and you can go out in slots of 30mins.
There is also a small kiosk serving a range of hot and cold drinks in the summer, as well as snacks such as crisps, burgers and sweets.

Advantages: Pleasant to live, lots to do Disadvantages: too many roundabouts!
...that the housing was much cheaper in Reading and Basingstoke. Ironically, there is no difference today as Basingstoke's popularity soars. So we found ourselves moving to Basingstoke, a town about which we knew nothing until we moved in. We only came when we viewed the house ?a largish 3-bedroom house for the price of a one bedroom terraced in Camberley.
We moved in and within the space of a few years Basingstoke became home, not just somewhere we lived.

So what's different about it?
Imagine a massive outdoor museum of old buildings, industrial machinery, shops, vehicles etc. but inside, in the warm - you never get wet! There are hardly any boring boards of endless stuff to read. Everything is on a handset that you control yourself by following the numbers aroiund the museum.
I guarentee both adults and children will love it.
LOCATION
Basingstoke, Hampshire. Easy to find. Just off junction 6 of the M3. You get on the ringroad around Basingstoke and go in a circle until you see it. It looks like an enourmous, modern aircraft hangar. Parking plentiful and free.
