A little about Hampstead Garden suburb

This is probably one of the most expensive and well-kept ... ...well kept, some overlooking the Hampstead Heath extension (a very famous park)others with one or two acre gardens (in London where space is a premium this is rare) The most expensive road is Bishops Avenue where luminaries such as the Sultan of Brunei sometimes live. Advantages: Something for everything Disadvantages: A bad reputation

It is a natural swimming hole, as far from the aseptic stench of a chlorinated indoor pool as can be. Relive your childhood ... ...You get a mixed bag of swimmers here. Pensioners come down first thing in the morning for a bracing dip. Mid week you get French and Spanish au-pairs working on their tans, and in the evenings a mixed bag of the skint, the nature loving and the beautiful come out to pretend briefly that they aren't stuck in the middle of a sweltering cess-pool of a city.
There are three swimming ponds, I'm enthusing about the mixed one. It is free. It has two changing ...
